Refurbishment

LCL Site services Division specialise in the refurbishment of Long & Crawford equipment both 'in-situ' within the substation or clients units returned to our St Helens factory.

Performing the refurbishment 'in-situ' removes the need to disrupt the existing HV cable connections, disturb cable radius. Thereby reducing the risk of future HV cable faults as a result of insulation breakdown.

Our refurbishments follow a detailed schedule of work, inspection and test. (See What we do).

As an extension to our refurbishment programme, we also offer a range of service enhanced products to extend the life-cycle of the original equipment. (See Additional Extras).

We also work in partnership with REC's to assist with failure investigations and design improvements to provide a solution and to undertake site rectification as required.
